Storage between moves
Chains slip. Completion dates move by a fortnight and suddenly you have a house full of furniture and nowhere to be. Storage bridges that gap so you are not forced to accept a date that does not work, or to move twice.

Pack for storage, not just for transit
Things that are fine in a van for two hours are not always fine in storage for two months. Anything damp, perishable or scented should not go in.
Think about what you will need
If there is a realistic chance of needing documents, tools or a particular chair before the redelivery date, keep them out. Retrieving one item from a packed load is slow.
Tell us how long, roughly
A week and six months are loaded differently. Knowing the likely duration up front means the load is arranged so the right things are reachable.

How much does storage cost?
It depends on volume and duration, and it is quoted alongside the move rather than separately, because the collection and redelivery are part of the same job.
Can I get access to my things while they are stored?
Ask when you book. It depends on how the load is stored — arranging access is much easier if we know it may be needed before it goes in.
Is my furniture insured while stored?
Cover applies while goods are in our care. The specifics are set out in your written quote — read that rather than relying on a summary here.
What if my dates change again?
They often do. Tell us as early as you can and the redelivery is rescheduled.
