Office and business removals
Moving a business is judged on one thing: how long you are not working. Everything else — the packing, the vehicles, the crew size — is arranged around that. We survey the premises at both ends, agree what has to be running first thing on Monday, and plan backwards from there.

What this covers
Offices
Desks, storage, meeting rooms and IT. Usually planned around a weekend so the phones and the network are live before anyone arrives.
Small industrial and trade units
Stock, racking, workshop equipment and tooling. Lanarkshire has a lot of these and the access is usually easier than an office — the constraint is normally the stock, not the stairs.
Shops and premises
Fit-out, fixtures and stock. Often out of hours because the shutters have to be up again in the morning.
Schools and institutional premises
Classroom and departmental moves in school holidays. If this is what you need, tell us — availability varies by season.

What we do not do
Worth knowing before you book, rather than after.
- IT disconnection and reconnection. We move the hardware; your IT provider should certify the network. We will work to their schedule.
- Anything requiring a specialist lift or crane, which is arranged separately if the survey shows it is needed.

Goods lifts and loading bays
Most commercial buildings have both and most restrict when you can use them. Building management usually want notice, sometimes insurance documents, and occasionally a booked slot. Getting that agreed is part of the survey rather than a surprise on the day.
Working out of hours
A Saturday move costs more in labour and almost always less in lost trading. Which way that balance falls is your call, but we will price both so it is an informed one.
Moving in stages
Not every business can shut. Departments can be moved in phases across successive weekends, with the old premises still functioning in between.
Confidential material
Files and records travel sealed and inventoried. If anything needs secure disposal rather than moving, say so at survey and it is handled separately.

How much downtime should we expect?
For a small office moved over a weekend, typically none in trading hours. The honest answer depends on your IT rather than on us — the furniture is usually in place well before the network is.
Can you move us at the weekend or overnight?
Yes. For commercial work that is normal rather than an exception. It is quoted separately from a weekday move so you can compare the two.
Do you supply crates?
Yes — delivered in advance so your staff can pack their own desks, which is usually faster and less disruptive than us packing around people.
Do you cover Lanarkshire and Glasgow?
Both, plus Central Scotland and UK-wide moves. We are based in Motherwell.
