Who we are
A Motherwell removals firm working across Central Scotland
TransScot is based in Motherwell and covers Glasgow, North and South Lanarkshire, and Central Scotland, along with long-distance moves to the rest of the UK.
Most of the awkward parts of a move are practical: a tenement stair with a tight turn, a permit needed for the van, a wardrobe that has to come apart before it will go anywhere. We ask about floors, lifts, parking and anything that needs taking apart before we price the job, not on the day.
Much of our work comes from repeat customers and recommendations, which is something we are proud of.

Tell us about the move
Where you are moving from and to, roughly when, and what kind of property. Two minutes is enough to start.
We survey and price it
For most moves a video survey is enough — walk us through the rooms on your phone. Bigger or more awkward jobs may need a visit. Then we send a written quote.
Moving day
The crew arrives at the agreed time, protects your floors and furniture, then loads, drives and unloads. Packing, dismantling and reassembly are handled too if you have asked for them.

George and his team did a fabulous job today in moving a sofa and chair from one location to another and they were total life savers in the end. What seemed like a straightforward move turned into a nightmare when the chair wouldnt fit through the front or back door. George worked tirelessley to find a solution even to the extent of taking the back door off (and one inside door too) getting the chair to where it was meant to go and the putting both doors back into place. I so appreciate the effort that they put in, their dedication and not to mention their reasonable price for what turned out to be a mad job. I highly recommend George and his team. Thank you :)

That covers Glasgow and the surrounding area, North and South Lanarkshire, and Central Scotland. Edinburgh is within our area too.
